Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and a toner kit, by which printed images with high density can be continuously obtained even in a great number of prints, without image density irregularity or fog due to cleaning failure, even when a spherical toner having a small particle diameter is used.SOLUTION: The image forming method includes a toner image forming step, a transferring step, a cleaning step and a step of supplying a toner for cleaning to a nip portion. The toner for forming an image has a circularity of 0.93 to 0.99, with a median diameter (D) of 3.0 μm to 8.0 μm on a number basis, while the toner for cleaning contains at least toner particles B and small particles C. The toner particles B have a circularity of 0.93 to 0.99 with (D) of 3.0 μm to 8.0 μm, and the small particles C have a circularity of 0.70 to 0.92 and (D) as 0.15 to 0.60 times as that of the toner particles B. The surface energy of the toner particles B is different from that of the small particles C. |
