PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee linkage validity of anonymity ID and actual user ID to an application provider when a user provides biometric authentication use application to the application provider when a registration authority gives the anonymity ID in a biometric authentication service system.SOLUTION: In the biometric authentication service system including a biometric authentication server, an application server, a registration authority, and a client, only a hash value of user's personal information is stored when the registration authority registers biometric information. In the use application of a template to the application server, the personal information is inputted again, the hash of the personal information is collated with the hash already stored in the registration authority to confirm that the user performing the use application is the same as the user whose biometric information has been registered in the registration authority. By adding secret information different in each user to the personal information, unique data in each user are prepared and the user is correctly identified by hash collation.
