Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus capable of setting a coating pattern in an intended shape and of improving coating efficiency.SOLUTION: The electrostatic coating apparatus 1 including a rotary atomizing head 22 that rotates in a state of being applied with a high voltage for charging and atomizing paint; and a plurality of first air ejection ports 411 and a plurality of second air ejection ports 421 formed in a manner of surrounding the rotary atomizing head 22, is constructed in such a manner that the plurality of first air ejection ports 411 and the plurality of second air ejection ports 421 are disposed on the same circumference of a circle concentric to the rotary axis X of the rotary atomizing head 22, and are disposed in the direction of the circular circumference separately in a first section 410 and in a second section 420 respectively, and the area of the opening of each of the first air ejection ports 411 and that of each of the second air ejection ports 421 are made mutually different.
