Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic cell with a mesh electrode containing a conductive material.SOLUTION: The photovoltaic cell includes: a first electrode; the mesh electrode having an opening region and containing the conductive material; a semiconductor material arranged in the opening region of the mesh electrode; an active layer located between the first electrode and the mesh electrode and containing an electron accepting material as well as an electron donating material; a hole blocking layer provided between the first electrode and the active layer; and a hole carrier layer provided between the mesh electrode and the active layer. |
