Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil insertion device capable of efficiently preventing coil damage causing dielectric breakdown, and inserting a coil into a stator core in a short time. SOLUTION: The coil insertion device includes a plurality of blades 21, 22 disposed along the circumferential direction of a stator core 40 so as to correspond to inner teeth 41 of the stator core 40, and strippers 31 disposed inside the blades 21, 22, wherein a coil C is hung on the blades 21, 22 and the strippers 31 are moved in a direction of extension of the blades 21, 22 to insert the coil C into a slot 42 corresponding to the stator core 40. In the device, a DLC (diamond-like carbon) film containing fullerene is formed on the surfaces of the blades 21, 22 over which the coil C slides. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
