Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump impeller and a balance adjusting method thereof, capable of adjusting a mechanical and hydraulic balance to a desired balance by a simple process. SOLUTION: A non-clog type pump impeller 1 has a substantially cylindrical body part 10, a suction part 13 arranged in the center of a lower end surface 15 of the body part 10, a delivery part 14 opening on a side surface 16 of the body part 10 and a flow passage 18 formed in a spiral shape when viewed from the axial direction on the inside of the body part 10 and communicating with the delivery part 14 from the suction part 13. The outer periphery of an upper end surface 11 of the body part 10 is formed as a flange part 23 of a circumferential edge shape of projecting upward, and a plate-like balance block 40 is installed on an inner peripheral surface 23a of the flange part 23. The balance block 40 is composed of a plate-like member having a circular arc-shaped end side 40a along the inner peripheral surface 23a of the flange part 23, and can be installed in an optional position in the peripheral direction of the inner peripheral surface 23a.
