Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf spring type suspension device for a vehicle which does not damage a frame even when subjected to a force from a support mechanism supporting the leaf spring. SOLUTION: In the leaf spring type suspension device in which the frame having a U-shaped cross section disposed in the back-and-forth direction of the vehicle, and an axle member for connecting right and left wheels are installed by using the leaf spring, the substrate of the support mechanism supporting the leaf spring is formed to locate at a curved portion where the longitudinal wall and the lateral wall of the frame are continuous with each other. Thereby, even when the force to twist the frame is applied from the support mechanism to the frame, the force is dispersed to the lateral wall, thereby preventing damage to the frame due to stress concentration.
