Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a descaling nozzle device which is excellent in descaling ability and can highly efficiently remove scale. SOLUTION: The scale on the surface of a steel plate is removed using the descaling nozzle device including a main discharging port 15 capable of discharging a main water stream 40 having a flat pattern, and an auxiliary discharging port 37 capable of discharging a first coated water stream 41a and a second coated water stream 41b from both sides of the thickness direction of the main water stream and jetting the main water stream while coating the main water stream to be sandwiched between the first and second coated water streams. The coated water stream may be a flat pattern, the flat patterns of the main water stream and the coated water stream may be a pattern extending in a width direction as forwarding in the jetting direction, and a jetting angle of the coated water stream may be substantially the same as the angle of the main water stream or larger than the angle. The jetting rates of the covering water streams each may be 0.2-10% of that of the main stream.
