PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of controlling a ring gate, smoothly opening and closing the ring gate while inhibiting the same from inclining. SOLUTION: The system 10 of controlling the ring gate includes a plurality of hydraulic servo motors 11 driving the ring gate 5, a pressure oil device 20 capable of supplying pressure oil to and discharging it from the respective hydraulic servo motors 11, and first valves 21 provided between the respective hydraulic servo motors 11 and the pressure oil device 20 and controlling the operation directions of the hydraulic servo motors 11 by switching supply of the pressure oil to and discharge of it from the hydraulic servo motors 11. Second valves 25 are provided between the respective hydraulic servo motors 11 and the first valves 21. Each second valve 25 is switchable between a condition of bringing an open side piston chamber 17 and a close side piston chamber 18 of the hydraulic servo motor 11 into communication with the first valve 21 and a condition of bringing the open side piston chamber 17 and the close side piston chamber 18 into communication with the pressure oil device 20 without interposing the first valve 21 between them.
