Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of the cost and the operational state checking time in a sensor system wherein a plurality of sensors and a control part are connected through a common communication line. SOLUTION: Sensors 2-5 output a single pulse to the communication line 8 at the random timing in the predetermined state notification period when a checking mode starting signal is sent from the control part 6, and notifies the control part 6 that the sensors 2-5 are all operated after a lapse of the prescribed time after the control part 6 outputs a checking mode signal when a number of the single pulses output in the state notification period coincides with a number of the sensors 2-5.
