Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness capable of holding sufficient airtightness between an outer housing of a connector and a cable. SOLUTION: The wire harness holds airtightness between the outer housing 5 and a cable 2 by ultrasonic welding of a welding member 21 made of resin to the outer housing 5 made of resin. The welding member 21 is formed so as to surround the surrounding of the cable 2 with a gap portion 24 of a prescribed width, and a recessed part 5b for engaging the welding member 21 is formed on the insertion side of a cable insertion hole 5a of the outer housing 5. At the time of ultrasonic welding, the welding member 21 is insertion-engaged with the recessed part 5b and the welding member 21 is pressed to the bottom wall 5c side of the recessed part 5b while vibrating it, and thereby, the tip part of the welding member 21 in contact with the bottom wall 5c of the recessed part 5b is melted, and a molten resin being the welding member 21 melted is flowed into a gap portion 24 and the surrounding of the cable 2 is covered with the molten resin.
