PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device for easily intuitively operable by a user, manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This switch device 1 substantially includes an operation part 10 mainly operable in two stages, a switch part 12 for outputting a first operation signal based on the first operation of a first stage performed by the operation part 10 and a second operation signal based on the second operation of a second stage performed by the operation part 10, and a control unit 100 for outputting control signals for displaying, on the external device 3, an image of an upper story by one of an image included in an image group having a story structure displayed on an external device 3 based on the first operation signal output from the switch part 12 and an image of the uppermost story of the image group based on the second operation signal.
