Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a plant operation surely observing safety regulations without depending on the experience and skill of an operator by supporting the selection and determination of monitoring items by the operator. SOLUTION: A monitoring item automatic display system 10 includes: an input unit 22 for accepting an input operation by a user; a plant system standby evaluation unit 23 for determining for all the equipments in a plant 11 whether to standby or not, based on the safety regulation information on the plant monitoring, the plant information obtained from the plant 11, the equipment information of all the equipments composing the plant 11 and the process information indicating all the processes to be monitored in the plant 11; a safety regulation compliance evaluation unit 24 for determining whether the monitored process includes the safety regulations, by obtaining the determination by the plant system standby evaluation unit 23, the safety regulation information, the plant equipment information and process information, and the information of the monitored process; and a monitoring item display dial 13 equipped with a monitoring item display unit 25, which, if the safety regulation is complied, collectively displays the monitoring items required for monitoring the process.
