Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a case in the axial direction of an output shaft while preventing abrasive powder produced by a brush from sticking to a control component, etc., mounted on a circuit board. SOLUTION: According to a motor 10 with a control circuit, the interior of a case 12 is divided by a circuit board 47 and a brush holder cover 50 into a motor chamber 52 housing a brush holder 22 and a rotor 20 and a control chamber 53 housing control components 45 and 46 mounted on the circuit board 47. As a result, even if an abrasive powder is produced by a brush 40, the abrasive powder is prevented from sticking to the control components 45 and 46, etc., mounted on the circuit board 47. The brush holder cover 50 is disposed on the side closer to the brush holder 22 with respect to an output shaft 26 (side indicated by arrow A). The brush holder cover 50, therefore, does not overlap the output shaft 26 and the control circuit 30 in the axial direction of the output shaft 26. Hence a gear case 16 and a board case 18 are miniaturized in the axial direction of the output shaft 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
