PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim mounting device for tire which prevents scattering of fragments and is easily handled after the breakage when a permanent magnet for mounting a rim is broken in a tire inspection device. SOLUTION: The rim mounting device 42 for tire is provided at a spindle of the tire inspection device 1. A rim mounting surface is formed at a tip part side of the spindle, and the tire inspection device 1 is structured so that the rim is mounted on the mounting surface using magnetic force of the permanent magnet. The rim mounting device 42 for tire includes a bottomed mounting hole in which the permanent magnet is inserted into the mounting surface and a scattering prevention member provided at the mounting hole, for preventing the scattering of the fragments when the permanent magnet is broken.
