Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain an oil film for lubrication between a smooth surface and a shoe of a swash plate to prevent generation of abrasion or seizure for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A pedestal part 9A of the shoe 9 includes: an annular seal land part 18 brought into slide-contact with the smooth surface 11A of the swash plate 11 as a hydrostatic bearing, and sealing liquid oil for lubrication between the seal land part and the smooth surface 11A; and a dynamic pressure pad part 19 formed to mount copper alloy in a radially inner area of the seal land part 18, and generating a hydraulic reactive force by the liquid oil between the smooth surface 11A of the swash plate 11 and each shoe 9. Irregularity processing such as shot peening is applied to a surface side of the seal land part 18 of the shoe 9 to form a lot of microscopic concavities and convexities 18A, of which average surface roughness Ra is within a range of 0.5-5.0, to a whole surface.
