Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a uniformity with high accuracy, by fixing the upper rim of large diameter at an upper spindle, in a rim replacement device of a tire inspection device. SOLUTION: The rim replacement device 11 is installed in the tire inspection device 1, which includes upper and lower side spindles 14, 16 which are kept each axial center coaxial with upper and lower side rims 4, 5, and the upper frame 3a holding an upper spindle housing 6, which holds rotation freely the upper spindle 14 around the axial center. In the upper spindle 14, a plurality of permanent magnets 9, which carry out magnetic fixing of the upper rim 4, are arranged around the axial center. At the upper frame 3a, a releasing means 50, which the upper rim 4 fixed magnetically by the permanent magnets 9 is separated by the pressure from the upper spindle 14, is installed. The release means 50 is such that it has a composition where the surface of the upper rim 4, which is separated outside of the diameter of the upper spindle 14, is pressed.
