Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor of which the fixing member is hardly damaged even though an impact load is given to the inductor. SOLUTION: The inductor has a case of a square measuring cup shape, a core accommodated in the case, a coil wound around a part of the core and a fixing member fixed to the case. The fixing member is brought into contact with one surface of the core near an opening to bias the core toward the bottom surface of the case. The fixing member further includes a plate type base and a tip portion. The plate type base is disposed between the one surface of the core and the opening of the case and extends nearly parallel to the one surface. The tip portion extends from one end of the base so as to be U-shaped and is brought into contact with the one surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
