SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater composed by connecting the heat pump unit 22 mainly comprising a heat pump circuit and a tank unit 23 mainly comprising a water circulation circuit for hot water supply through piping has a configuration of covering the leg 11 of a bottom of the heat pump unit 22 with a resin cover 12. Thus, safety is secured during and after installation, the transmission of vibration generated with the body to the leg of the base plate can be reduced, and the low noise and low vibration heat pump unit can be provided.
