Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a lower part suction type sintering machine capable of manufacturing high strength high quality sintered ore of high yield even if there is a side wind. SOLUTION: The sintering machine includes a circulating pallet, a raw material feeder charging sintering raw material including fine ore and charcoal material on the pallet to form a charging layer, an ignition furnace igniting the charcoal material of a charging layer surface, a gaseous fuel feeder jetting out gaseous fuel into the atmosphere above the charging layer in a downstream side of the ignition furnace and providing dilute gaseous fuel of a combustion lower limit concentration or less, and a wind box sucking in the dilute gaseous fuel and air from an upper part toward a lower part of the charging layer in a lower part of the pallet. It is characterized by that the gaseous fuel feeder comprises a gaseous fuel feeding part and a hood covering a periphery of the gaseous fuel feeding part, the hood has an opening sucking in air in an upper part, the hood is comprised by arranging plural rows of baffle plates with intervals in a horizontal direction and intervals in a vertical direction, and a width of the baffle plate is two times or more of the interval in the horizontal direction.
