Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and precisely set a post-processor or the like in a precise setting position, in the case of disposing the post-processor or the like in a paper ejection space. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a paper ejection space disposed between an image forming part B and an image reading part C wherein a paper ejection port 411 for ejecting printed sheets is formed and a sheet storage part D for storing the sheets ejected from the paper ejection port 411 is arranged. A positioning/fixing means Bk for positioning a stapler F or a reverse unit R near the paper ejection port 411 and also attachably/detachably arranging the stapler F or the reverse unit R is provided in the paper ejection space.
