Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power supply capable of controlling the on-off of power supply to a load while being capable of avoiding unintended output changeover to the load even in case of a trouble. SOLUTION: The uninterruptible power supply includes: an inverter power supply (an AC/DC converter 2, a capacitor 3 and a DC/AC inverter 4) outputting an AC power stabilized on the basis of the AC power output by an AC power supply 1; and a switching relay 5 selecting and outputting either of an output from the AC power supply 1 and an output from the inverter power supply in response to the presence of the output by the inverter power supply. The uninterruptible power supply further includes a latching relay (a control relay 7) including a set coil 7a for connection and a reset coil 7b for disconnection and controlling a supply to the load of the AC power output by the switching relay 5.
