Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight fluorescent tube easy to pack. SOLUTION: The straight fluorescent tube 900 includes: a straight glass tube bulb 100 having a pair of filament electrodes 120 sealed and mounted into both ends, respectively, and a phosphor film 130 applied onto the inner surface, and filled with at least mercury and noble gas; and bases 200 mounted at the ends of the straight glass tube bulb 100, respectively. A pair of connection pins 310 each have a male screw groove in the outer peripheral face of the front end. The bases 200 have a pair of screw holes 210 which have female screw grooves in the inner peripheral faces. The connection pins 310 are mounted and fixed onto the bases 200 by threading the front ends of the pair of connection pins 310 to the screw holes 210. They can be demounted from the bases 200 when removed from the screw holes 210. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
