PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a project management system for managing the execution of the task of a project, the system retrieving the scale of a task that a person in charge has taken charge of or the scale and leader operation of a task whose management is promoted other than task information from the records of the sub-divided or hierarchized tasks to be executed in the project and persons in charge. SOLUTION: This project management system includes: a task database 102 for recording information related with a task and a person in charge; and a talent retrieving part 104 for retrieving a person in charge with the scale of a task managed and concerned by the person in charge based on the task that the person in charge has taken charge of from information stored in the task database 102, and for expressing the scale of the task managed by the person in charge with the number of persons in charge of the tasks positioned in the low order of the task that the person in charge has taken charge of and the number of tasks and the positions of the task hierarchies, and for retrieving and presenting the person in charge.
