Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document reader having a registration means for performing registration by forming a loop in a document by which the number of read documents per unit time is increased. SOLUTION: The registration means executes correction of inclination of the document by an instruction of a document conveyance control means. The document conveyance control means determines whether or not to make the registration means execute correction of the inclination of the original depending on the content of setting regarding image information acquired by a document reading means.
