Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign including an electroluminescent lamp (40). SOLUTION: The electroluminescent lamp (40) is formed on the sign by using the sign as a substrate for the lamp and carrying out steps of screen printing a rear electrode (104) on a front surface (30) of the sign, and screen printing at least one dielectric layer (102) over the rear electrode (104). At least either a conductive layer or an illumination layer spreads out over a periphery of an opaque electrode for an electroluminescent system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
