Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device advantageous in improving an aesthetic appearance without being influenced by external light such as illuminating light or the like. SOLUTION: A display panel 14 is arranged in a front face 12A of a casing 12. A transparent substrate 16 is mounted on the front face 12A of the casing 12 while including a first opening 28 for having a screen 14A facing forward. The first opening 28 has four edges, that is, an upper edge 28A and a lower edge 28B facing each other and a left edge 28C and a right edge 28D facing each other. Each of the portions where the four edges are intersected, a concavo-convex shaped edge 30 is formed obliquely crossing the edges with the repetition of the concave parts and the convex parts so as to be connected with the edges. A frame member 18 is mounted on a face arranged on the other side of the face of the transparent substrate 16 facing the front face 12A of the casing 12 while including a second opening 32 with the screen 14A facing forward via the first opening 28.
