Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the tuning time without mounting an additional module for transmitting and receiving information predicted by a microcomputer on each receiver by preparing a plurality of digital broadcast receivers so as to reduce the tuning time in tuning of the digital broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: While the digital broadcast receiver uses external input, tuning information is acquired. When a state is changed from an external input state to a viewing state, the receiver control unit simultaneously sets a plurality of filterings to a TS processing part using the already acquired tuning information, and acquires the tuning information independent of an acquisition order. Thus, the time until the tuning information is acquired is reduced and the tuning time is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
