Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully aromatic polyester which includes low volume expansion coefficient, excellently high dimensional stability and excellent heat resistance, and is thus particularly suitably used for multilayer films, multilayer sheets, multilayer blow molded articles and the like. SOLUTION: The fully aromatic polyester contains constitutional units derived from 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, 4'-hydroxy-4-biphenylcarboxylic acid and 4-hydroxybenzoic acid at a specific ratio.
