PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin foamed molded product having excellent appearance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin foamed molded product, to which a functional member made of a thermoplastic resin is welded partially, includes a process (1) for heating a raw material thermoplastic resin foamed sheet to soften the same, a process (2) for supplying the foamed sheet heated and softened in the process (1) to the space of a pair of male and female molds having a recessed part corresponding to the shape of the functional member, a process (3) for performing mold clamping until a mold clearance becomes the thickness of the heated and softened foamed sheet and after that or simultaneously, a process (4) and supplying the molten thermoplastic resin through a resin path provided in the mold to communicated with the recessed part by rotating a screw of an in-line screw type resin feeder without advancing the screw, and a process (5) for cooling the molded thermoplastic resin foamed molded product molded in the process (4) to take out the same from the mold.
