Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic coupler operating with further high sensitivity and high accuracy. SOLUTION: This magnetic coupler is provided with: a thin-film coil 20 wound in a first layer L1; and a first MR element 31 arranged in a second layer L2, and detecting an induction magnetic field Hm generated by a signal current Im flowing through the thin-film coil 20. The first MR element 31 has a plurality of strip-like patterns 311 extending in a strip-like shape. The plurality of strip-like patterns 311 are connected to one another by connection parts 312 at positions at predetermined distances from end edges of themselves in the extension direction (Y-axis direction).
