Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly and easily select paths for path generation. SOLUTION: A data distribution system is composed of a node band information acquisition part which acquires and stores data transmissionable band information of each of a plurality of nodes on a network, a content band acquisition part which acquires and stores the band of content to be distributed, a band division information acquisition part which acquires and stores band division information that is a division ratio to divide the content to be distributed into a plurality of bands, and a connection destination determination part that determines a connection destination for the content to be distributed, which is divided based on the band division information stored in the band division information acquisition part. In addition, the connection destination determination part divides a transfer band for the distribution data based on the band division information, and the data transmission band of each of the plurality of nodes is divided at a dimension with the divided transfer bands as units. A node for which the dimension is secured is selected as a connection destination for every divided transfer band, and then a distribution path is determined for the distribution data.
