PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding apparatus capable of efficiently collecting a metal contained in a grinding target and preventing the deterioration of a grinder. SOLUTION: The grinding apparatus is equipped with a crusher 1 for rotating a pair of crushing rollers 2 and 2 arranged up and down in parallel to each other to crush the grinding target W1 between the crushing rollers 2 and 2, and a grinder 5 for rotating a pair of the grinding rollers 6 and 6, which are installed in an obliquely downward direction with respect to the crusher 1 to be laterally arranged in parallel to each other and grind the grinding target W2 crushed by the crusher 1 between the grinding rollers 6 and 6. In this grinding apparatus, a hopper 8, which receives the grinding target W2 crushed by the crusher 1 between the crusher 1, and the grinder 5 to charge the same into the grinder 5 is provided between the crusher 1 and the grinder 5, and at least two magnets 10 and 11 for collecting the metal are installed on the inclined surface 8a along which the grinding target W2 slides down, of the hopper 8 so as to provide an interval in the inclined direction of the hopper 8.
