Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping instruction method without waste for improving work efficiency in overall machining of movement of a work piece and the operation of a tool for the work piece by eliminating instructions of clamping and unclamping and an operation responding to the instructions. SOLUTION: In a stage where the operation by the tool 3 for the work piece 2 is performed, rotational torque caused by the operation is measured for an additional shaft 4 coupled with a table 1 supporting the work piece 2 or a palette loading the work piece 2. When rotational torque exceeds a prescribed reference, the problem can be solved based on generation of the clamping instruction for the additional shaft in the clamping instruction method for the additional shaft.
