Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation wall structure which enhances earthquake resistance by using a corrugated steel plate, and which enhances sound insulation by preventing or reducing a low-pitched structural resonance phenomenon. SOLUTION: A sound insulation wall 1 is constituted by being erected on an installation surface so that the first and second corrugated steel plates 10A and 10B can be brought into noncontact with each other and set almost parallel to each other and so that individual bent bars 11 can become almost horizontal. Individual portions of the first corrugated steel plate 10A, and individual portions of the second corrugated steel plate 10B, facing the individual portions of the first corrugated steel plate 10A, are at least partially arranged almost in nonparallel with one another. In the presence of portions arranged almost in parallel with one another, an interval between the portions is set as an interval which falls short of a target frequency set smaller than a lower limit value of a sound-insulation performance evaluation target frequency range.
