Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a discharge destination from being occupied by a weight rank having a small distribution ratio, and to improve an operation rate of the entire system in a weight selecting/combining/measuring apparatus for selecting and quantitatively measuring the weight of an article. SOLUTION: The distribution ratio of the individual weight rank is calculated with respect to the article introduced into the apparatus. The residual weight to the target weight is combined and calculated with respect to the article belonging to the weight rank having the large distribution ratio after the predetermined number of weight accumulations. The target weight is combined and calculated with respect to the article belonging to the weight rank having the small distribution ratio without the predetermined number of the weight accumulations.
