Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of accurately correcting time information of a clock section. SOLUTION: When the time, preset by a user, to perform time information correction comes, all receivable channels are tuned in by a tuner section 6, and time information contained in a TS (transport stream) signal obtained by tuning is scrutinized by a time information scrutiny section 16 and then verified by a time information verification section 17.
