Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance device usability and configuration facilitation in a printer composed of modules. SOLUTION: There is provided a model of a print-engine configuration. A return simulation based on an event of the model is executed by applying the specification of a first print sheet to at least one output port of the model. Print-engine capabilities are determined in order to assemble the first print sheet described by the specification of the first print sheet on the basis of the return simulation result based on the event.
