Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for forming a coating film having high dust-proof properties consistent with high anti-slip properties and required in a nuclear power station, a radiation control area, etc. SOLUTION: A coating film excellent in dust-proof properties and anti-slip properties can be formed by a coating composition prepared by compounding a main component (a) for an epoxy resin, a curing agent (b), and a resin powder (c) which contains at least one kind of a polypropylene powder, a polyethylene powder, a polyester powder, a polyvinyl chloride powder, and a cross-linked acrylic powder, of which 80% of the individuals has a maximum length of powder particle of 20-300 μm and the ratio of maximum length to minimum length in an optional cross-sectional configuration of powder particle is 17 or lower. The content of the resin powder (c) in a coating material is preferably such that the volume of the resin powder (c) in a coating film obtained from a coating material is more than 2% and less than 20%.
