Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for flexibly facilitating prevention countermeasures to the erroneous operation of an adjacent key. SOLUTION: An EC/KBC 25 executes scanning by, for example, every 10ms, and counts the number of times of the detection of the continuous depression of a key whose depressed state has been detected. Then, the EC/KBC 25 compares the counted number of times of detection of depression with a decision value stored for each key in a decision table 251, and checks whether or not there exists any key whose counted number of times of detection of depression has reached the decision value, and when it exists, the EC/KBC 25 decides that the key has been depressed, and returns the code of the key to a keyboard driver or BIOS or the like on an operating system as a host system.
