Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor structure of a railway vehicle body which realizes lightweight and low noise. SOLUTION: An air-tight floor 13 is disposed on a plurality of cross beams 12 of a vehicle body. A compartment floor 15 is mounted on the air-tight floor 13 through the medium of floor receivers 14A, 14B. The cross beams 12 hang an underfloor unit 31. The vibration of the underfloor unit 31 vibrates the cross beams 12, which causes the vibration of the compartment floor 15 through the medium of the air-tight floor 13 and floor receivers 14A, 14B. The floor receiver 14B is intermittently coupled to the cross beams 12 in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 10. A notch is provided between the lower end of the floor receiver 14B and the air-tight floor 13 so that the air-tight floor 13 is insulated from the floor receiver 14B. By so doing, the vibration of the underfloor unit 31 is prevented from being transmitted to the cross beams 12, floor receiver 14B and compartment floor. As a result, noise in the compartment can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
