Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage current characteristics and ESR characteristics while miniaturizing an electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor comprises: a capacitor element 16 comprising an anode body 11 where a plurality of valve metal wires is arranged while a dielectric oxide film is formed on a surface, an anode lead 14 connected to the anode body 11, a cathode body 12 where a plurality of valve metal wires arranged opposingly via the anode body 11 and a separator 13 are arranged, and a cathode lead 15 connected to the cathode body 12 by winding; an electrolyte for drive stored in a metal case along with the capacitor element 16; and a sealing element for sealing the opening of the metal case and inserting the anode lead 14 and the cathode lead 15.
