Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely orient an accident point in a distribution line for electric power, in the situation where a system impedance becomes apparently nonuniform and where an error in accident point computation gets large along with an increase of a load capacity or an electric power generator capacity connected in a midway of a distribution system, because a load, an electric power generator or the like is connected in anywhere of the distribution system, different from a power transmission system, when applying a conventional system for locating accident point onto the distribution system. SOLUTION: This system for locating accident point is provided with: a plurality of sub-stations 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, etc, provided corresponding to respective points of the distribution line 4, and for obtaining voltage information in an accident of the distribution line in each corresponding point; a main station 5 for collecting the pieces of voltage information in the respective points in the distribution line from the sub-stations; and an accident point orienting part 7 for orienting the accident point, based on a plurality of voltages brought into a relation reduced gradually toward the accident point, out of the pieces of voltage information in the respective points collected by the main station.
