Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a door, preventing the weight of a locking lever, energizing force of an energizing means for return from being always applied to an operating lever, thereby improving the durability of the operating lever and lightly operating the operating lever, and disposing a lock in a desired part of the door. SOLUTION: This locking device of the door is provided with a plate spring (a block means) 28 including a stop piece 28b, which enters a moving locus of an upper locking lever 20 to inhibit the upper locking lever 20 from moving from a locking position toward a releasing position, and a sliding contact part 28c, interlocking with the turning operation in the locking direction and the unlocking direction of the operating lever 15 to move the stop piece 28 up to a position away from the moving locus of the upper locking lever 20.
