Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic device without the need of frequently adjusting the display gradation even when there is the difference of the concentration of a contrast medium in photographed images. SOLUTION: The X-ray image diagnostic device stores at least a mask image before injecting the contrast medium and a contrast image after injecting the contrast medium in a storage device 31, subtracts the mask image and the contrast image in an image subtraction part 32, processes the image obtained there in a gradation processing part 36 and displays it on an image monitor 17. In the storage device 31, a frame image having a plurality of partial images including the mask image and the contrast image is divided on the basis of at least one of the gathering rate of the images when photographing, the pixel value distribution of gathered images, the change between frames of image statistic information and X-ray irradiation conditions, and is stored.
