Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical means for preventing a phenomenon of arbitrary movement of a vehicle body when a running gear shift lever is positioned in neutral by a comparatively inexpensive means, without using a power transmission cutoff method having a possibility of abnormal double meshing. SOLUTION: In the transmission device for a work vehicle provided with a hydraulic main clutch A and a hydraulic forward/backward change-over gear E in a running power transmission system, change-over control of the hydraulic main clutch A is carried out when a gear change operation tool F is put into neutral (S2), and hydraulic control is carried out such that pressure oil is supplied to a forward side clutch FE or a backward side clutch BE to retain the hydraulic forward/backward change-over clutch E in a neutral position. A rotation sensor G is provided in an output side of the hydraulic forward/backward change-over clutch E, and hydraulic control is carried out such that pressure oil is supplied to the forward side clutch FE or the backward side clutch BE so that a rotation detected by the rotation sensor G becomes zero when the gear change operation tool F is in put into neutral.
