Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data authentication method for authenticating any client when the same type of authentication data as that of the reading function of biological data owned by the client are registered. SOLUTION: This system in which a biological authentication server and a client are connected is configured by arranging only one type of authentication means for every client for fixing an authentication time. Thus, it is possible to prevent any illegal access from the client by fixing an authentication without carrying out a plurality of authentications. Also, it is possible to shorten an authentication time when it takes time to perform access in a remote place or a place where a communicating speed is slow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
