Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support mechanism for a tower crane base with high strength relative to rotation reaction force at turning of the tower crane capable of exhibiting high earthquake-resistance performance in such a state that pulling/drawing out reaction force of the tower crane is supported. SOLUTION: The support mechanism 1 is provided with a receiving beam 2, and a tower crane is supported by the base 3 provided on the receiving beam 2. A cross linear movement support member 4 is provided on an end in the receiving beam 2, and lead-containing laminated rubber 5 is provided at a position between the adjacent cross linear movement support members 4. The lead-containing laminate rubber 5 is connected to the receiving beam 2 by a connection material 6. Further, a fastening member 7 is provided between sliders of the adjacent cross linear movement support member 4. The rotation reaction force applied to the cross linear movement support member 4 is reduced by the fastening member 7 at turning work of the tower crane 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
