Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric equipment monitoring system excellent in workability, flexibility and expansion property, allowing easy wiring to electric equipment of a monitoring object and further change in a setting place or addition of electric equipment, and allowing easy monitoring of the operating state of the electric equipment. SOLUTION: This system comprises a plurality of gate devices 3 connected to a power line L1 and an information line L2 wired in advance, and a function module 8 receiving power supply through each gate device 3 and performing exchange of information signal. The function module 8a transmits a confirmation signal through the gate device 3 and displays information received through the gate device 3, and the other function module 8 detects its own operating state or the operating state of equipment related to itself, and transmits the detection result by an operation detection means to the monitoring module 8a through the gate device 3 when it received the confirmation signal. The monitoring module 8a displays the received detection result of the operating state on a display means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
