Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following inconveniences: when clinching objects such as paper are stapled, the clinching objects are pinched by an upper staple feeding and retaining unit and a lower clincher unit, and then the upper and lower units are positioned to each other, but sometimes a depth distance of a staple clinching location is limited due to the relationship between the clinching location and a fulcrum of the upper and lower units; and when an obstacle such a projective portion is present in a gap to be pinched, clinching by a staple is difficult, and if clinching by a staple is carried out by pinching the clinching objects between the upper unit and the lower clincher unit at every clinching operation, clinching operation requires much time and labor, resulting in a huge time loss if the number of items to be clinched is large. SOLUTION: There is provided an outward bending stapler according to which a clincher is set in an upper unit, and therefore a lower clincher unit itself is eliminated. As a result, clinching locational limitation due to the distance is eliminated. Further, pinching of the clinching objects is dispensed with, and therefore the clinching operation is carried out without an influence of an obstacle such as a projective portion present in a gap to be pinched. Furthermore raising and positioning of the upper unit for pinching is dispensed with, and therefore working efficiency is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
